ASUS PA248CRV Overview

Designed to deliver exceptional color, this Calman verified 1920 x 1200 resolution display is factory calibrated for ΔE <2 accuracy, covering 97% of the DCI-P3 gamut. You can quickly switch to other gamut presets such as sRGB and Rec. 709 to fit with your photo, video editing, and color grading needs. The 16:10 aspect ratio provides more vertical viewing space than traditional Full HD displays, and HDR10 support provides images with bright highlights and deep shadows. Built in Adaptive-Sync technology helps to reduce screen tearing and stuttering from fast action videos with compatible graphics cards.

You can connect this monitor to your system using the DisplayPort and HDMI ports or use the USB-C connector to transfer video, data, audio, and up to 96W of power over a single cable with compatible laptops. With razor thin bezels and a DisplayPort Out connector, you can enhance your workflow by daisy chaining multiple ProArt Display monitors together. There is also a built-in 3-port USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 hub that allows you to quickly connect 5 Gb/s compatible flash drives and other peripherals to your system through the monitor.

Exceptional Color
Designed for creative professionals, the ProArt Display PA248CRV is factory calibrated and Calman-verified for a color accuracy average of ΔE <2. Additionally, it's 24.1" In-Plane Switching (IPS) panel supports a 1920 x 1200 resolution a 16:10 aspect ratio, providing up to 16.7 million colors that cover 97% of the DCI-P3 and 100% of the sRGB gamut. Other features include high-dynamic range support, a 1000:1 static contrast ratio, 350 nits brightness, and 2 ms GtG response time.
Quick Color Gamut Adjustments
Use the integrated ProArt Presets to switch between multiple color settings that include sRGB, Rec.709, Adobe RGB, DCI-P3, and DICOM modes. The PA248CRV is compliant with the DICOM Part 14 standard to ensure smooth gradations and accurate identification of grayscale shading.
Versatile Connectivity
The ASUS ProArt Display includes two HDMI 1.4 ports alongside a DisplayPort 1.4 input. Connecting compatible computers can be connected through the USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 port enables the integrated 3-port 5 Gb/s USB-A hub in addition to allowing you transfer video, data, and up to 96W of power over a single cable. A 3.5mm headphone jack is also available for listening privacy.

Expand your view by using daisy chaining additional displays to a single source using the DisplayPort out connector.
ProArt Palette
Customize your display with a variety of adjustments, including color hue, temperature, and gamma configurations, using an onscreen menu.
QuickFit Plus
The ASUS QuickFit Plus feature overlays a grid onto your projects, allowing you to preview and align content in real-time. The center marker and safety area tools help you to avoid bringing video images beyond the screen when you're on the set shooting. The ruler provides an actual size inch ruler along screen's the edge, and you can customize its size to fit your preference.

ASUS Ultra-Low Blue Light and Flicker-Free technologies help to reduce eyestrain for comfortable viewing over extended periods of time.
Ergonomics
Rotate the screen 90° in either direction to view content in portrait mode and adjust the height, tilt, and swivel to match your preferences. The 178° horizontal and vertical viewing angles allow you to see the screen clearly from almost any position. Additionally, the stand's quick-release makes it easy to remove the display so that you can mount it to a wall or swivel arm using the 100 x 100mm VESA pattern.

Great Value Creator Monitor

Purchased this on sale over President's Day - value for money so far has been exceptional. I had concerns that 24" would be small, but I've been pleasantly surprised. The 16:10 ratio helps immensely in this regard, providing a bit more real estate than a traditional 16:9. Given I have limited space (NYC apartment, smaller sized desk), it hits a sweet spot. Doing a lot of research, I also had minor concerns about this monitor only being HD vs QHD or 4k. With it being 24.1", it works extremely well. The text is clear and without any distortion. Image quality is extremely clean and sharp between videos and website. If you have concerns about HD vs QHD specially related to size, don't. Color has been exceptional - I work professionally in media, and so far haven't had any issues. Granted, I purchased this in the last week, but have already gone through a few projects. The various settings to calibrate based on what I'm working on are helpful. No issues, but a bit more time with the monitor will confirm these early experience. Overall - an incredible value made even better with the sale price. It looks clean set up in my studio, assembly was near seamless, and I have zero reservations about the purchase so far.

excellent color monitor for graphic design and photo editing as well as general use. I did have a problem with the display port cable that came with it. It stopped working after about two hours and I had to go out to Best Buy to buy a replacement
