Sonos Ray Soundbar (Black)
Even those who are not tech savvy can upgrade their TV's audio with the black Ray Soundbar from Sonos. Setup is quick and easy with a stress-free 2-cable installation. Just plug in the power and plug in the included optical cable to your TV's optical audio output. The result is a compact speaker with multiple amps and drivers that produce a dynamic, wide soundstage for TV, movies, and gaming, as well as crisp and easy-to-hear dialogue. Thanks to Wi-Fi and wired Ethernet connectivity, you can also use the Ray to stream your favorite audio and thousands of free live stations via the Sonos app, Apple AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, and more.
Clear Dialogue
Built into the Sonos Ray are four Class-D digital amplifiers and four drivers (two woofers and two tweeters). These work with anti-distortion technology and advanced processing to emit a wide, dynamic soundstage and accurate positioning of audio elements. With fine-tuning by Hollywood engineers and the use of TruePlay software, this sound ensures that dialogue in TV and movies remains crisp, clear, and easy to understand. If needed, you can activate the Speech Enhancement feature in the Sonos app for even more clarity.
Note:
TruePlay calibration requires a supported iOS device.
Do Not Disturb
With Night Sound turned on, loud sound effects are reduced in intensity, while still keeping dialogue clear, helping you watch your favorite shows without disturbing others in your home.
Compact Size
The Sonos Ray is only 22" wide, under 4" deep, and under 3" high, making it possible to store within many types of media stands.
Sonos App
Besides being required for setup, the Sonos mobile app is used to stream music, podcasts, and online radio through the Sonos Ray. It can also be used to access different functions, such as Speech Enhancement, Night Sound, and make EQ adjustments to tweak bass, treble, and loudness. If you ever want to expand the Sonos Ray with the Sonos Sub and a matching pair of One, One SL, Sonos Five, or PLAY:1/3/5 speakers for rear surrounds, the app lets you group everything together and easily ungroup them if you decide to place the speakers in different rooms later.
Sonos Era 100 (Black)
A reimagining of the Sonos One, the cylindrically shaped black Sonos Era 100 adds significant acoustic and convenience features, such as an additional angled tweeter for stereo sound and Bluetooth streaming. Like the One, the Era 100 is an ideal wireless speaker for nearly any room in your home—on an office desk, living-room bookshelf, or kitchen counter. Setting up is easy with a mobile device and Wi-Fi. Once set up, the Era 100 plays your music with room-filling deep bass sound. Sound that can be tuned specifically to your room with Trueplay. Controlling the Era 100 is just as easy as setting it up, with touch controls and a far-field microphone array that supports voice commands.
3-Way Playback
You have a few options when it comes to playing music, podcasts, and more through the Era 100. You can stream lossless audio over your Wi-Fi network, or you can pair a mobile device to stream to it via Bluetooth. With the purchase of an optional Sonos Line-In Adapter and auxiliary cable, you can also connect wired, 3.5mm equipped devices via the USB-C input, such as a turntable. Please note that the USB-C input is only designed to work with the Sonos Line-In Adapter, and both 3.5mm and Bluetooth playback still require the Era 100 to be connected via Wi-Fi with the Sonos app.
Pair for Stereo or Surround
One Era 100, with its twin angled tweeters and mid-woofer, can supply a room with a wide stereo soundstage, but you can increase that coverage and enrich your experience by pairing it with an optional second Era 100. With two Era 100 speakers, you also have the option of joining them in your living room with an existing Arc, Beam, or Ray soundbar as surround speakers for a more immersive home theater experience.
Trueplay Room Tuning
Sonos' Trueplay technology utilizes the Era 100's built-in far-field microphone array and your Android or iOS mobile device to tune the speaker to your space. Your room's acoustics are analyzed, and Trueplay then optimizes the Era 100's EQ settings. The result is music that sounds as it should, but you can always tweak the EQ settings yourself through the Sonos app.
Voice or Touch Control
The built-in far-field microphone array is bundled with beamforming technology and multichannel echo cancellation. Altogether, this allows the Era 100 to clearly and accurately pick up your voice, even from across the room, providing effortless control over audio playback. If you'd like more privacy, you always have the option of turning the mics off. If you're close to the Era 100, you can choose the intuitive touch controls that let you tap and swipe to play, pause, adjust volume, or group the Era 100 with other Sonos speakers you own.
Easy Setup
Setting up truly is easy with the Era 100. Just plug in the power, connect your phone or tablet to Wi-Fi, and open the Sonos app.
