Kondor Blue KB_TALONTHXL Overview

The space gray Talon XL Top Handle with Trigger REC for Select Cameras from Kondor Blue is ideal for performing low-angle shots with any of the wide range of cameras compatible with it, and it also provides a start/stop REC trigger when paired with an optional cable that will work for your specific camera. Two NATO rails and two cold shoe slots, along with three 3/8"-16 ARRI-type threads, provide multiple mounting options for your accessories. Nice Handle Built Solid But Very Light. My Biggest Issue... You're Selling A Top Handle For $75+ And You Can't Include A Variety Of Cables??? That's Insane To Me. Had To Order That Seperate? The Cable Is Almost $20.00? I Should Just Solder My Own Cable And That'd Probably Cost $2.00 In Pieces Parts.

This handle feels good in my hands. The rubber underside assures comfort and I really like the gap in the front that allows for a better grip. I have two minor gripes though... 1. The handle doesn't come with the cable needed and there aren't many options except for the KB brans which is about $30. Plan to spend about 130 + tax. 2. The record button make a significant audible sound when you push it. It is not extremely loud, but enough that it is noticeable for anyone nearby. I usually shoot hand held from the hip and I do not like for the subject to hear or see that the camera is recording so it's a little annoying, but not a deal breaker. This handle is very well built and looks great too.

Yes, the Kondor Blue Talon XL Top Handle with Trigger REC for Select Cameras (Space Gray) could attach to Smallrig cages and many other brands if the cage has a NATO mount to attach to. You can also work with the NATO rails in the handle kit to attach the handle if your cage does not have a top NATO mount.

The Kondor Blue Talon XL Top Handle with Trigger REC for Select Cameras Does not come with the trigger cable. You must select and separately purchase the correct one for your camera.

To use the Kondor Blue Talon XL Top Handle with Trigger REC for Select Cameras (Raven Black) with the EOS R7 Mirrorless Camera, you need to use the 2.5mm to N3 Canon Remote Trigger Shutter Cable.
