iFi audio DC Blocker

Clean up your AC power and improve the sound of your amplifier with the DC Blocker from iFi audio. The DC Blocker is designed to do just that, block DC power from getting into your amplifier's transformer where it can cause a mechanical hum. This is especially true in amplifiers with toroidal transformers. Simply connect the DC Blocker to the IEC input on the back of your audio amplifier and plug the amplifier's power cord into the DC Blocker. It's as easy as that—AC power is cleaned up, mechanical hum eliminated, and EMI shielding is retained. The DC Blocker is compatible with equipment using standard three-prong IEC power connections and drawing 4A or less of continuous power. The DC Blocker can also be used in conjunction with the iFi audio GND Defender ground loop eliminator.
