Been using these for a few years now, love them

I use these plugs for a few lights and other accessories that I want to be able to control with a Hue switch, but cannot. My favorite example of this is my vintage sewing machine. It doesn’t have an on off switch, you have to plug it in or unplug it to turn it on and off. It’s a delicate 60 to 70 year-old electric plug that I don’t trust. I have it plugged into a hue outlet with a hue button, and I love that I can turn this vintage machine on without having to reach for on an antique electrical plug. I also use these plugs for built-in lights that we have in the house, like under cabinet lighting. They are simple, not fancy, and a bit bulky, but they do exactly what they promised to do.

Not a good fit to HomeKit

It’s not a light, but it is a scene. Once you’ve got all accessories in Apple HomeKit, the plug adaptor does not respond to Siri requests unless you give it special attention.
