With an intuitive interface that gives you quick access to faders, knobs, illuminated buttons, and a vivid, 4.3" color touchscreen, it has never been easier to mix exciting live content in pristine-quality, 48 kHz / 32-bit floating-point audio that captures every detail and helps avoid clipping.
The Gigcaster 5 is not simply a 16x12 USB audio interface, it is also a full-featured sound-shaping utility that features flagship-quality BOSS amps and effects derived from the GT-1000; vocal FX, harmony, and transformer functions from the VE series vocal processors; a dedicated preset library for optimized sound processing of guitar, bass, singing, and speaking as well as ducking, talkback function, and convenient app control from the Gigcaster 5 app. Two phantom-powered XLR jacks with low-noise preamps provide up to +70 dB of clean gain, and you get a Hi-Z input for DI guitar or bass, two 1/4" line inputs in a stereo pair, two headphone outputs (one with headset support and both with dedicated EQs), an onboard stereo microphone, and dedicated stereo channels for remote guests and mobile device streaming via Bluetooth or wired connection. And with all these features, the Gigcaster can run on simple USB bus power or an AC adapter, letting you mix and manage your content from virtually anywhere.
Versatile preset patches provide 100 ready-to-play sounds, while 200 user locations are available for storing parameter tweaks and custom-built setups. A built-in tuner is always at hand, a vital tool for every session. And with extensive control support via footswitches, expression pedals, and the GA-FC or GA-FC EX, you can operate your rig hands-free as you perform.
Dedicated vocal effects from the popular VE series allow you to sing with effects like compression, pitch correction, delay, and reverb, and you can even dial up harmonies that automatically follow a set key. Effects are available for speaking, including transformer effects that change the sound of your voice, along with console effects to enhance the sounds of connected sources.
Each mixer channel includes various sound-shaping options for pro mixing on the fly. Gigcaster 5 can communicate with multiple computer audio channels over USB, providing a lot of flexibility for different streaming applications and working with remote guests, DAW music tracks, game audio, and more.
