Ideal for smaller classrooms, meeting spaces, and public spaces, the black CMZ50 5200-Lumen WUXGA Ultra-Short Throw Laser Projector from Panasonic offers a very short 0.235 to 0.228:1 throw, which can equate to an 80" display being projected from just 1/3" away. A laser projects that content with 5200 lumens of brightness, making images and text look their best in fully lit rooms. The CMZ50 offers flexible 360° installation, and many image adjustments can be done automatically with the included remote. The CMZ50 provides a host of additional features to improve clarity, reduce noise, and generally expand its capabilities, helping to make it a more useful long-term display option.
Flexible Installation
A 360° installation and minimal screen offset allow you to install the CMZ50 almost anywhere, even flush to the wall in rooms with low ceilings. It's also compatible with an optional ET-WBC100 wall mount if needed.
Remote Image Adjustment
If you mount the CMZ50 out of reach, you can still configure a properly-sized image with the included remote. The remote can be used to operate a powered center and periphery focus, a digital zoom extender, and digital image shift with +/- 10% horizontal and vertical shift.
Quiet Operation
Thanks to a heat-resistant laser light source, the CMZ50's exhaust noise is significantly reduced for quieter operation. When in quiet mode, the noise level can drop to just 25 dB, which is a similar volume to that of rustling leaves. The low noise helps presenters and professors alike be better heard by their audience or students.
Clear and Realistic Image
Using its Detail Clarity Processor 4 and Dynamic Contrast, the CMZ50 analyzes each scene to automatically adjust detail and contrast. This helps to make images more realistic and text more defined and easily readable.
Wide Format Projection
Supporting a 21:9 and 27:9 widescreen aspect ratio, the CMZ50 can comfortably accommodate additional information on the screen without adversely affecting your content. You can have a remote chat next to your image, or you can place remote guest faces/video images next to or below an image.
Go Bigger with HDMI Out
The HDMI output lets you mirror a presentation to an optional second projector or remote monitor. It also lets you connect to an optional second projector and use the edge-blending feature to create one giant display.
Powered USB-A Port
The versatile USB-A port can be used to provide a host of functionality, such as projecting a series of still images from an optional USB flash drive. It also provides 5V/2A of power, letting you operate optional accessories, such as the AJ-WM50 Wireless Module, Wireless Presentation PressIT receiver, or an HDMI streaming media dongle.
Eco-Friendly
The projector uses a maximum of 325W, which is less than many lamp-based projectors. You can further increase the CMZ50's efficiency by using either ECO or Quiet modes. An additional environmentally-friendly feature is a removable filter that can be washed and reused twice before needing to be replaced.
HDMI CEC
Compatible with HDMI CEC, the projector can turn on, function, and shut off based on commands from compatible devices, such as Blu-ray players or media streamers.
Fast Mobile Casting
Cast content from a mobile device without connecting to the local network. Simply scan the projector's on-screen QR code with your device's camera.
