Can you charge the light while you use it to go past its battery life?
The Aputure MC Pro RGB LED Light Panel may be charged while it is powered on. That being said, page 6 of the Aputure MC Pro RGB LED Light Panel's instruction manual states that the charging rate will slow down when the light is powered on. They recommend to turn the light off for optimal charging.

Is it a problem to airline check this case with the fact that each one of these lights have lithium batteries .. has anyone had these taken by TSA ?
The Aputure MC Pro RGB LED Light Panel (Production 8-Light Kit) is designed for the traveling professional for film production. The fixtures do have a built-in battery that has fewer watt-hours for these flying regulations. Flying with this case should not be an issue.

The Aputure MC Pro RGB LED Light Panel (Production 8-Light Kit) can be plugged in continuously, and the lights can be charged as needed. It is a good practice to run lights to full depletion a couple times a year and let them fully recharge.
