Pro Station Keeps Shutting Down - SanDisk Wont Replace Them

We purchased 16 PRO-BLADES and 4 ProBlade Stations for use for TV Productions. The stations keep randomly shutting down during use. We contacted SanDisk and after months of back and forth, they said they can't replace them all at once. They have to replace one at a time. We need the replacement units all at once in order to prevent shutting down our production completely. We have not heard anything more from SanDisk and would caution against buying these PRO-BLADE Stations until they work the bugs out. If I could do it over again, I wouldn't buy these drives because SanDisk doesn't offer professional level support and I would build my own SSD enclosures.

Great design & concept. If only it doesn't shut of randomly!

I've watched many youtube reviews on the Pro-Blade system. I purchased the 36GB G-Raid HD that has the pro-blade cartridge port. The Pro-Blade station, when it works, is lightening fast and is a great concept. Many reviews made it a point to warn buyers that it can get really, really loud when transferring large files (it sounds like an airplane landing). I used to always purchase SanDisk stuff My problem, and it's a HUGE one, is that while I'm trying to move 1.5 to 2TB folders/files from my 2023 Macbook Pro to the Pro-Blade, the jet engine fan will engage on the Pro-Blade, and randomly just shut off completely, which is the last thing you want when backing up files. I've reached out to Sandisk support and have yet to hear back from them. SanDisk used to represent quality drives, SSDs etc, but then, like many other customers, lost data from their 4TB Extreme Pro SSDs, and now this.

The SanDisk Professional PRO-BLADE STATION is meant to support JBOD. The Manufacturer does not guarantee compatibility with any software raid setups, as the enclosure is not designed with any RAID controllers.

Will the Station run cooler and quieter if I connect to USB3.2 Gen2 or Gen1? I need quietest for audio, not fastest for video.

Using the SanDisk Professional Professional PRO-BLADE STATION with a USB 3.2 connection should not impact heat or self-noise.

Regarding the SanDisk Professional 16TB Professional PRO-BLADE STATION Kit with PRO-BLADE SSD Mag (4 x 4TB), at this time, SanDisk does not make an 8TB version of the PRO-BLADE SSD Mag.
