Use the compact SmallHD CINE 5 Monitor with Control Kit for RED DSMC2 put together by B&H to provide professional monitoring and remote control for your RED DSMC2 camera with a sharp 5" display suitable for indoor or outdoor use. The kit includes the CINE 5 bright 5" monitor and the RED RCP2 camera control kit for DSMC2 cameras that includes software and a LEMO-type control cable.

The indoor/outdoor 5" monitor provides 2000 cd/m² brightness, 3G-SDI and HDMI inputs, and a touchscreen 1920 x 1080 display. The RCP2 control software loads onto the monitor and allows you to control DSMC2 camera functions protocol such as run/stop, color and exposure controls, status, color temperature, video format, playback, shutter, menu control, and more via the SmallHD monitor touchscreen.

SmallHD CINE 5 Touchscreen On-Camera Monitor

Monitor your camera with the CINE 5 Touchscreen On-Camera Monitor from SmallHD. Featuring a sharp 5" display suitable for indoor or outdoor use, the CINE 5 monitor supports various HD and SD formats via one full-size HDMI input, one HDMI output, one 3G-SDI input, and one 3G-SDI selectable input/output. The monitor also supports cross conversion from HDMI to SDI and from SDI to HDMI.

The CINE 5 features a bright 2000 cd/m², 1920 x 1080 LCD touchscreen with 3D LUT compatibility. Using the intuitive PageOS 5, you can turn on and save pages of various monitoring tools and focusing aids with a finger tap, and the CINE 5 also adds a joystick on the side and a button on the back for ease of use. There is a 5-pin USB output to utilize optional RED camera control. The monitor can be powered using its 2-pin power input.

SmallHD Camera Control Kit for RED DSMC2 (Cine 5, Ultra 5)

Control your RED DSMC2 camera with your SmallHD Ultra 5 or Cine 5 monitor using this FOCUS Pro Monitor Camera Control Kit. The kit includes a software license that provides full control via RCP2 (RED Camera Protocol) over your camera and an 18" 9- to 5-pin camera control cable that connects the camera to your monitor.

The software allows you to access and control all camera functions available via RCP2, such as run/stop, color and exposure controls, status, color temperature, video format, playback, shutter, menu control, and more, all via the monitor touchscreen.

The SmallHD CINE 5 Touchscreen On-Camera Monitor does support cross conversion from HDMI to SDI and from SDI to HDMI. The monitor does not output simultaneously.

Yes, the SmallHD CINE 5 Touchscreen On-Camera Monitor can accept an HDMI output from the Canon EOS C70 Cinema Camera (RF Mount). Please note that the Cine 7 can only accept up to a 1080p60 signal and so the output of the C70 may need to be adjusted to output at that resolution.
