Creative Labs GC7 Overview

Enhance your streaming sound quality with the Creative Sound Blaster GC7 USB DAC Amp. Providing you with multiple inputs and support for PC, consoles, and mobile devices, the Sound Blaster GC7 can balance incoming and outgoing audio for greater sound quality between your game volume, chat, and more.

The Sound Blaster GC7 provides you with 7.1 channel virtual audio with 24-bit, 192 kHz frequency with 120 dB SNR quality. Propped up at an angle for easy access, the Sound Blaster GC7 puts its controls front and center allowing you to make adjustments quickly and easily. A volume control knob and mic mute/unmute button cover your general audio while the Gamevoice mix control knob balances the game volume with your chat volume. The EFX control panel gives you access to treble, bass, Super X-Fi settings, and additional effects so you can make various adjustments to the audio. You get four programmable buttons that can be color-coordinated to your liking so you can quickly swap between your presets.

Dual-DSP System
Armed with both Sound Blaster's audio processing expertise and award-winning Super X-Fi Headphone Holography, the Sound Blaster GC7 is powered by a dual-DSP system to provide you with an edge over your opponents using superior battle tools like the Scout Mode and SXFI BATTLE Mode.
Easy Controls
A full set of easy-access controls for audio, microphone, and surround mode adjustments are right at your fingertips, allowing you to make changes at an instant to your various profiles. You can also toggle between Super X-Fi audio holography and Sound Blaster Acoustic Engine Surround or turn on SXFI BATTLE Mode or Scout Mode with just a press of button.
SXFI Mode
Hear your surroundings in games, just like how you would in real life. SXFI BATTLE Mode allows you to hear not only the directionality of where the gunshots are coming from but distance as well, so you can accurately pinpoint your enemies' locations to the millimeter.
Scout Mode
Scout Mode focuses on detection through enhanced audio cues, highlighting each and every in-game detail that could make or break the game.
Compatibility
The Sound Blaster GC7 is compatible with Windows, Mac, mobile devices, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 (requires optional HDMI to SPDIF converter).

Perfect DAC Just what us older players needed

I have many older gaming headsets that didn't have any bells when I purchased them like the new ones do but loved how they worked and sounded in their day but in today's gaming I lost the edge with the newer stuff out there today as far as sound detection this has put me back in the game with scout mode. The best part is I can use any of my older headsets and get the same results. Volume control is a plus as getting older I can crank it up a little an hear footsteps again. All I can say is if you want to boost your headset up to the modern sound and stuff this one works. I haven't even started messing around with the custom settings but the onboard ones are solid. Very Happy Camper here all I can say to my Son's who play games with me is look out I once again can hear comIng! Very nice product
