The GrafiLite Professional Viewing Lamp for Color Selection and Matching from Calibrite has a wealth of functions that allow easy soft proofing, print assessment, color reference selection, and color matching. Calibrite CALB151 Overview

The GrafiLite Professional Viewing Lamp for Color Selection and Matching from Calibrite has a wealth of functions that allow easy soft proofing, print assessment, color reference selection, and color matching. The lamp has three color temperature settings—home light (2700K), store light (4000K), and natural daylight (5000K). The dimmer switch has three light intensities for each color, while the CRI of 95 is your assurance of a high degree of accuracy in color reproduction. The included gray viewing mat provides a neutral background for your item.

The distance from the lamp to the tabletop is 11.9" and the viewer conveniently folds down to 12.2 x 3.2 x 2.8". It's ready for worldwide use thanks to its 100-240 VAC power supply.

Uses
  • Soft proofing to compare prints to the digital image on a calibrated computer screen for image retouching—select daylight illumination and set the dimmer function to correspond with your calibrated monitor's brightness level.
  • Print assessment is easy with the GrafiLite's daylight balanced 5000K light source with CRI of 95.
  • Color reference selection of color swatches or sample allows consideration of them under a choice of three illumination temperatures.
  • Check the accuracy of product or fabric color matching under daylight 5000K light source and consider the effects under office or store light and home light conditions.

    Nice little lamp for small print image review

    This little lamp is nice for reviewing smaller images for color matching. It is very lightweight so it helps to place it where it won’t get knocked over but is still handy. It works particularly well where full spectrum light is not available. It has three intensity levels and also shows the day, date, time and temperature. This lamp works as intended. I would prefer it had a heavier base.

    Good light with more than enough features. Light is easily knocked over with such a small base. The gray piece of plastic which looks like it is part of the base is useless. It slides around too easily.

    There are three brightness settings for each color temp for the Calibrite GrafiLite Professional Viewing Lamp for Color Selection and Matching so they will be stated in Low - Medium - High: 2700K (Home Light): 227 lux - 475 lux - 822 lux 4000K (Store Light): 620 lux - 1150 lux - 2210 lux 5000K (Natural Daylight): 363 lux - 758 lux - 1350 lux

    Is there a brighter version that could be used as an all day desk lamp as well?

    The Calibrite GrafiLite Professional Viewing Lamp for Color Selection and Matching is not intended for use as a desk lamp. There are lower cost (non color calibrated) brighter options for desk lamps such as this Auray: https://bhpho.to/2YQU3uT
