Wooden Camera A00346 Reviews
Well built, very tight tolerances
This is a very professional and well-built plate and mount, it's all metal with spring adjustable ratchet knobs for tight spaces. The Gold-Mount bracket and the side D-Tap port fit the battery and accessory, but are extremely tight to the point where I can't pull the battery out like a normal gold-mount, it takes tapping the battery with something heavy to get an AntonBauer Titon Micro battery loose from the mount. I tried working it around with a dummy gold-mount plate and it seems like it might possibly loosen slightly with some use. I don't know yet whether this is good (better tight than loose) or bad (battery and accessories get "stuck" or really difficult to get out). You just have to be careful how you wiggle/lever things out to not damage the battery, p-tap, or cable. May update my review after a few months of use.
