My iMac came with a 1Gb Ethernet card and with the ISP's network overhead cap, download speeds were always in the neighborhood of 940Mbps. Well, my ISP doubled the download speed to 2Gb. I got this Belkin adapter and now download speeds are consistently between the upper 1800sMbps to well in the 1900sMbps, and that's with the network overhead cap -- very close to 2Gb. The connection is rock solid. My ISP's gateway (modem/router combo) has a 2.5Gb port. Ethernet cable goes from there to the Belkin and then plug the Belkin to a USB-C port (or on Mac you can also use a Thunderbolt 3 or 4 USB-C port). The computer instantly found the Belkin. I went to network settings and set the service order for the Belkin to be the primary and WiFi the secondary. For Ethernet cable, Cat5e or above is fine. Do not use Cat7 as the connectors are non-standard and it's not recognized by the TIA and EIA. I'm using a Cat8 that I had on hand. Very pleased and as always, shipping by B&H was fast.

Does the Belkin INC012BTBK USB-C to 2.5Gb Ethernet Adapter support PoE? Can it be used as substitute for the Logitech Ethernet adapter for Mevo Start?
The Belkin USB-C to 2.5Gb Ethernet Adapter, BH #BEINC012BTBK, does not support PoE. It should not be used in place of the Logitech Ethernet adapter for the Mevo Start since it doesn't supply power; it will allow the battery of the Mevo to drain really quickly.

You can use an ethernet adapter to connect the Sony FX6 to the SKAARHOJ ATEM CCU, but the adapter would need to have a certain type of older chipset, which we cannot guarantee the Belkin USB-C to 2.5Gb Ethernet Adapter would have.
