FOCUS RAT V3 Steady Bag Medium Overview

Designed to eliminate camera shake, this medium, navy blue Rat Bag V3 from FOCUS RAT ensures your gimbal- or tripod-mounted rig remains steady during shooting. Its 22 lb load capacity can easily accommodate DSLR, mirrorless, and small-format camera setups. Attach it to your rig using the removable 2" strap or four car-mounting loops.

Air compress shoulder padding reduces all-day strain on your back and spine. The water-resistant Cordura fabric on the bag and an included nylon camera cover ensure you can continue shooting in inclement weather. You can empty or fill the bag with polystyrene using the hidden zipper pocket. Store extra batteries and lens covers in the two small and one jumbo hook-and-loop accessory pockets.

I previously complained about adjusting the strap while shooting. Probably user error as I've come to learn, but anyway, Focus Rat reached out to me and wanted to see if they could make it right by sending me a new strap. I said "sure". They sent two! Who does that? Basically no companies ever. Very cordial and friendly customer service. The reason I chose Focus Rat in the first place is , the popular brand had complaints about tearing at the seams. Focus Rat is well made, the buckles on the bag and strap are made from good materials, and FYI this medium v3 is great for my C300 Mark lll with v mount battery, kondor blue top handle, small hd monitor and holly land transmission system with any lens. I used to go from tripod to monopod. Now I go tripod to Focus Rat. Makes life easier.

Keeping it simple, duh!

No need to buy complicated and pricey rigs and gimbals. Of course everyone's style of shooting varies... but for event and run-n-gun shoots its hard to beat a simple cinesaddle bag to adapt to unexpected production challenges... we all don't have a crew of Sherpas and Gaffers, lol. I'm a one man band with a bean bag at my side... lets shoot this : )
