Creality Falcon2 Cv-50 Overview

With four 6W laser diodes compressed to produce 22W of laser power, the Creality Falcon2 provides strong and fast engraving and cutting power for wood, metal, cardboard, bamboo, rubber, leather, fabric, acrylic, and plastic. Cut up to 15mm thick wood or 0.05mm stainless steel sheets with just one pass and apply color engravings to make ideas into reality. The working area is right around 15.75 x 16.3", or exactly 40 x 41.5cm.

Assembly requires only three main steps, and your workflow is supported by advanced features including integrated air assist, triple monitoring systems, and five safety precautions. The machine is compatible with software including LaserGRBL and LightBurn on Windows or Mac. The supported file formats are SVG, PNG, JPG, JPEG, BMP, and DXF. The engraving file format is G-code. The engraving speed is 25,000mm per minute, and the resolution is 254 dpi.

22W Power
Based on the latest FAC spot compression technology, four 6W laser diodes are compressed to increase the laser power to 22W.
25,000mm/Minute Fast for Higher Productivity
With 25,000mm per minute engraving speed, Falcon2 allows you to work about twice as fast as with the previous Falcon model from Creality.
Integrated Air Assist
Using a stepless knob, manually adjust the air assist, or have airflow automatically adjusted through the optional LightBurn software in order to remove smoke and protect the laser lens for cleaner results.
Add Colorful Engravings
When stainless steel is heated by the powerful laser beam, the metal surface will physically react and produce hundreds of colors, bringing your works to life.
Offline Use
Insert a TF card and create anywhere, anytime.
Offline Dynamic Preview
Position and adjust precisely without connecting to a computer. Short-press to fine-tune by 1mm, and long-press to adjust by 10 mm/s.
Motion Stability
The all-aluminum design provides you with a solid machine. An integrated sliding rail keeps motion highly synchronized, while the U-shaped, wear-resistant wheels ensure motion stability.
Five Safety Protections
Bidirectional limit switch, active stop function, security lock, emergency stop button, and a laser protective cover.
Triple Monitoring Systems
Airflow monitoring, lens monitoring, and flame monitoring.
Flame Monitoring
When a flame is detected, an indicator will flash red, and the machine will stop immediately.

I am still finishing up building a full enclosure with fume extraction, so I haven't ran the machine too hard yet, but so far, it has been a great laser. The frame was ever so slightly out of square when I got it out of the box and had to be re-squared, but that is quick and easy and you should check always to make sure it hasn't gotten out of square during shipping. Been using lightburn with it on a Linux laptop and so far, no problems.

I ordered this machine to replace a much less powerful Ortur LM2, which I still use in my business. The much higher output of the compound laser system in the Creality, combined with far better cable and hose management plus an integrated air pump make it a great rig, and the ability to run it independently of a computer makes it more productive. So far, I've cut plywood, hardwood, softwood, ceramic tile (!!) and leather -- and I'm only getting started. And while the 22-watt laser's dot is larger than lower-output units, the precision with which it is placed makes the apparent resolution of this unit as high if not higher than my lower-output head. Bottom line: I'm thrilled with the Falcon2 laser system, and I couldn't be happier with the friendly and efficient service B&H Photo provided.
