Dell Precision 7680 16" Overview

Make short work of demanding projects with the 16" Dell Precision 7680 Mobile Workstation. Designed for heavy workloads, this high-performance system features a 13th generation 2.2 GHz Intel Core i9-13950HX 24-Core vPro processor with 64GB of DDR5 CAMM memory and a 1TB M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD. The 1920 x 1200 resolution, Full HD display is backed by NVIDIA RTX 4000 graphics, which can significantly accelerate video and 3D rendering tasks.

Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) support and a Gigabit Ethernet port allow you to connect to high-speed networks while the Full HD webcam helps to ensure you look your best on video calls. Dual Thunderbolt 4 ports work with 40 Gb/s compatible devices to quickly transfer massive files. There is also a 10 Gb/s USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port available alongside two 5 Gb/s USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports and an SD card reader. A SmartCard reader is built into the palm rest. Windows 11 Pro is preinstalled.

Performance
The 2.2 GHz Intel Core i9-13950HX processor features eight Performance cores with a Max Turbo Boost frequency of 5.5 GHz to power demanding applications while the 16 Efficient cores smoothly handle background tasks. Additionally, the 64GB memory module uses Dell's proprietary CAMM interface to deliver higher performance than traditional DDR5 SO-DIMMs. A panel located on the bottom of the system allows you to quickly and easily replace the 1TB M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD.

Thunderbolt 4
Thunderbolt 4 is a hardware interface that utilizes the reversible USB-C connector and features a maximum throughput of 40 Gb/s when used with compatible devices. The connector also transmits data via USB4 at up to 20 Gb/s, and DisplayPort support allows you to connect either one 8K monitor or up to two 4K displays simultaneously. Additionally, you can daisy chain up to six devices from a single Thunderbolt 4 port.

The Windows Hello compatible infrared webcam with proximity sensor allows you to log in with just a glance, then automatically locks the system when you step away. Simply close the shutter when the webcam isn't in use to further protect your privacy.
