The JOBO Alpha Black & White Film Processing Kit combines the Alpha Developer and Neutral Fixer, in one convenient package, ready out of the box to process up to 50 rolls of film.
The JOBO Alpha is a universal black & white developer that allows full utilization of the film speed and still excels in fine grain and great sharpness. Uniquely suited for rotary processing, it is nonetheless an excellent all-rounder for all types of developing techniques. This kit includes two bottles of 300ml of concentrate, to make a total of 6 liters of working, which can yield approximately 50 rolls of film.
Optimized for continuous rotary processing, the JOBO Neutral Fixer is based on sodium thiosulphate and is therefore pH-neutral. Supplied as a powder cocentrate, each of the 3 bags can make 2000ml of working solution. By combining the JOBO Alpha Developer with the JOBO Alpha Neutral Fixer, the entire process takes place completely in an alkaline to pH-neutral environment. In addition, a simple rinse with water replaces the usual acidic stop bath. The process is particularly gentle on the film emulsion and saves chemicals, water, and time while ensuring long-term stability.
