Extend the back grip on your Sony FX3 or FX30 factory top handle using this Handle Extension Rig / Noise-Cancelling Solution from SHAPE. The durable aluminum rig extends the length of the factory top handle unit and provides additional grip in the back. It also provides a noise-cancelling solution to the "creak" noise that sometimes comes from the top handle. The extension installs using one screw on top and one behind the handle for a secure fit.

Anyone who owns an FX3/30 has wondered when (not if) the plastic audio handle will break due to flexing and general instability. This extension does a great job of fixing the handle in place and allowing for a more complete rigging solution. One issue: in addition to the standard handle mount points there's a third screw point on the side of the mount that was blocked by my Smallrig cage. I ended up grinding the extra mount point off and the rest fit perfectly without significantly impacting stability.
