This 18 x 24" Full Frame Black Flag from Impact offers control of spill light from natural and artificial sources. It is made with a black Duvetyne fabric that completely blocks or prevents light from reaching an area, so you can have light fall on any portion of your subject for a dramatic effect. This flag features a full metal frame with a 3/8" frame-mounting pin, making it easy to attach to standard grip heads. The fabric is NFPA 701 flame retardant, so it may be safely used in front of the light source being blocked.

A 24 x 36 Black Flag is a great addition to any lighting setup. And this Impact one is well-made with durable black Duvetyne fabric that does an excellent job cutting spill light and shaping your scene. The material feels thick and professional, not cheap or flimsy, and the stitching is solid all around. You can tell it’s built to hold up through plenty of use on set. The steel frame feels strong and balanced, and the 3/8 mounting pin fits perfectly into a standard grip head. Once secured, it stays in place without sagging or twisting. Knowing it is flame-retardant adds peace of mind, and is a great safety feature, especially when working close to hot lights. Overall, I'm very impressed with this flag. It is a high-quality, reliable flag that performs exactly as expected. It’s well-built, blocks light effectively and should last for years with proper care. I was able to bring out the Impact Full Frame Black Flag (24 x 36) on a shoot recently and was impressed how it held up to its more expensive counterparts. This flag helped shape some lighting, add some shadow, and acted as a courtesy for our Cam Op. The structure of this item is really strong, the flag itself got accidentally poked by a C Stand arm when we were moving set ups and it didn't puncture! So thats always a win for me. If you're in the market for some solids in your flag kit I recommend buying this one. [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review.]
