The ESI planet 22c Dante Audio Interface is designed to interface any analog equipment such as a traditional mixer, studio monitors or PA speakers, synthesizers or other electronic instruments, and much more with a Dante IP network. This lightweight and sturdy I/O solution is equipped with two analog input and two analog output channels supporting balanced line audio signals with switchable, home (-10 dBV) and professional (+4 dBu) signal levels.
The planet 22c features BurrBrown 24-bit / 96 kHz AD / DA converters, which deliver pristine, reference-audio quality to a Dante network. The flat frequency response makes the interface ideal for audio measurement purposes.
The interface can be powered not only via the included 12 VDC power adapter but also directly from the Ethernet cable as a PoE (Power over Ethernet) device. This is great when using it in a remote location.
The planet 22c can also be integrated into a modern music studio when using the Dante Virtual Soundcard (DVS) software (available separately) for Windows or Mac.
