The projector delivers a stunning 4K HDR picture with accurate color and zone-controlled contrast, in addition to Filmmaker Mode and 24p support to achieve the big-screen vision of director's and content creators. Use either of the two HDMI inputs to connect a set top box or Blu-ray player, using eARC to pass through full-resolution 7.1-channel Dolby Atmos audio, or connect the included Android TV dongle to stream over 700,000 shows and movies from popular online services.

The picture it projects is easily adjusted to look perfect on your wall or screen using built-in keystone correction, 1.3x zoom, and 2D lens shift.
Authentic Color
To ensure true Hollywood colors, the HT4550i is professionally tuned by ISF and THX-certified engineers to produce accurate CinematicColor super-wide 100% DCI-P3 and 100% Rec.709 colors. You can also take matters into your own hands with adjustable color temperature, which lets you fine tune the HT4550i with 11 levels of white balance controls, which range between high to low brightness.
Realistic Contrast
BenQ's HDR-Pro technology uses various features to achieve an immersive level of realism when it comes to picture contrast, such as HDR10+ support, Leading Local Contrast, Dynamic Black, and Tone Mapping.
- Leading Local Contrast: Images are divided into 1000+ zones and Local Contrast Enhancer analyzes each one's brightness to properly adjust gamma zone by zone for improved bright and dark details.
- Dynamic Black: This is used by enhanced Tone Mapping to calculate each scene and increase contrast to preserve details in darker areas.
- HDR10+: Dynamic metadata is added to HDR10 source files, which helps the projector adjust and optimize each frame for more realistic contrast.
Filmmaker Mode
This mode is designed to represent the director's intentions by preserving motion cadence, cinematic color, dynamic range, and brightness.
24p Playback
With most movies being shot at 24p, the HT4550i supports 24p playback of HD sources without judder in HDR mode, preserving the authentic movie experience.
Android TV
Using the included Android TV dongle with dual-band Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) support, you get access over 700,000 streaming shows and movies from Google Play, including 4K HDR content from popular streaming services, such as Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, Disney+, and more.
