You can finely adjust the flange focal distance via the integrated rotary wheel without the use of tools and shims, and a 1/4"-20 thread allows you to set an optional support rod at the bottom of the adapter. The special design cutout at the front of the adapter makes mounting and dismounting easy while retaining adequate airflow. A lens checker is included to facilitate lens testing for compatibility with this adapter.

The KIPON Baveyes PL 2x Cine Extender supports PL-mount lenses with a rear flange protrusion up to 22mm; if the rear protrusion of the lens is 22mm or less, it will work with this adapter. The adapter also includes a lens checker to ensure compatibility.

Kipon has not stated if the KIPON Baveyes PL 2x Cine Extender is compatible with the Angenieux EZ-1, EZ-2 or EZ-3. The Extender includes a Lens Checker for testing compatibility with different lenses.
