Built to seamlessly fit into enterprise IT, it brings conferencing capabilities powered by HP Presence, productivity, and security that is easily managed in hybrid work environments. This system is powered by a 2.9 GHz AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 6650U 6-Core processor and 16GB of 4800 MHz DDR5 memory that can be upgraded to 64GB.

The 16" anti-glare IPS display features a 1920 x 1200 native resolution that is equipped with LED backlighting, a 16:10 aspect ratio, 1000 nits brightness, a 1500:1 typical contrast ratio, a refresh rate of 60 Hz, viewing angles of 85/85/85/85°, and coverage for 100% of the sRGB color gamut. Integrated AMD Radeon 660M graphics delivers a sharp, clear picture, and you'll be able to output video to an external display using the USB4 and HDMI 2.0b outputs. The display also features an integrated HP Sure View panel, which produces a copper reflective finish when the screen is viewed from the side, making it appear unreadable.

For storage of your files, there's a 512GB PCIe 4.0 M.2 2280 SSD. If you want to add external storage drives or other peripherals, the EliteBook 865 G9 features two 40 Gb/s USB4 ports with a USB-C interface that support DisplayPort 1.4 and Power Delivery. There are also two 5 Gb/s USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, one of which doubles as a charging port. Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) is also built-in for wireless networking and Bluetooth 5.3 technology will allow you to connect additional compatible peripherals. Other integrated features include a 5MP IR webcam with an integrated privacy shutter, plus face-detection security and system unlocking via Windows Hello. Also featured are dual mics, 2W stereo speakers with Bang & Olufsen HD audio, and a touch fingerprint sensor for fingerprint authentication.

The EliteBook 865 G9 Laptop includes a 65W USB-C power adapter and an HP Long Life 3-cell / 51Wh lithium-ion polymer battery that supports fast charging of up to 50% in 30 minutes and lasts for up to 17.25 hours before recharging is required. Windows 11 Pro (64-bit) is the installed operating system and a Windows 10 Pro (64-bit) license is also available. Protection is provided by a limited 1-year parts & labor warranty.

This laptop is amazing. I got this for school and video editing. I was worried about how it could handle 4K footage however it works very well. I would recommend making sure all 12 cores are running. Overall the size is perfect. It's Light and fits in my PM Nomatic camera bag like a glove. the color accuracy on the screen is great too. For the price, this is worth it.

Configuration: - AMD Ryzen 5 Pro 6650U, 16Gb, 500Gb SDD. Came with Windows 10 installed (Not 11 as advertised) Good: - Relatively inexpensive - Light - Screen is big enough for casual use - B&O Sound - Memory supposed to be user adjustable (did not check yet) So-so: - Limited number of connection ports - Slow wireless network adapter - Battery life far less than declared - Screen brightness becomes uneven if observed from an angle - Quality might be better (Silver paint is not reliable, thin aluminum case looks fragile) - BIOS mode UEFI (only?) - Windows 11 support is not perfect (Blue Tooth service might disappear, so you would have to restart this service and reboot. ) This PC is good enough for general office tasks and even simple software development. Do not expect it to fly when processing images. Be prepared to add a docking station if you want more ports. And don't forget to add a fast wireless network adapter.

Probably the best EliteBook ever. It has all you need for an incredible performance. No matter if you need it to work, study or have fun. The relation price-performance is optimal. And it's an HP. No more have to be said.

Bottom line up front: Absolutely terrific laptop. Got a similar laptop for work for a while ago and had such a good experience I bought this version for myself. Great screen resolution, top notch material and build quality. Lightening quick operation and it does everything I could ask for. Solid recommendation.

This notebook from HP checks all boxes: lightweight (1.8kg), large screen 16.10 16, highest brightness 1000 nits, Windows 11 Professional, embeeded encription, infrared camera for Windows Hello log in, fingerprint reader, quite loud sound for 2W speakers, great battery life thanks to AMD Ryzen 5 Pro processor, 2 USB type C with display output, 2 USB type B 3.0, USB type C 65W charger, lightning fast, privacy screen is a plus, 100% sRGB color gamut is much better than most IPS screens (78% DCI-P3 is very good). And @ 650 usd is unbeatable price performance ratio.

Needed computer for editing in LR and PS. This one fit the bill. Enough RAM and memory. Screen size on larger end for a laptop. Price was very reasonable since it was on sale.
