The PGYTECH Backpack is an integrated storage and operation solution for the Ronin 4D gimbal system. Adjustable partitions are optimal for organizing all the Ronin 4D's components and accessories. The internal compartment also contains a built-in PGYTECH Beetle Clip to quickly and securely mount the main body of the Ronin 4D, transforming the backpack into a sleek and convenient mobile operation platform.

Stabilization and Storage Combined
On first look, PGYTECH's backpack for the Ronin 4D looks like a simple and convenient transport solution for your gimbal rig and its accessories. Slash-proof and wear-resistant construction helps protect the gimbal from the elements and the interior contains configurable hook-and-loop dividers to efficiently store the complete Ronin 4D kit as well as multiple batteries, lenses, and accessories.

However, this backpack doubles as a mobile work platform to support comfortable and flexible operation of the DJI Ronin 4D. A built-in PGYTECH Beetle Clip in the main compartment of the backpack carries the main body of the Ronin 4D to reduce the size of your rig. Adjustable camera support clips and detachable sternum and waist straps further mitigate operator fatigue. The top and side flaps are removable in order to provide optimal airflow to the Ronin 4D body and prevent overheating.

You must disassemble every piece

You have to disassemble the whole camera to pack it in this backpack.. There is no place for the camera body on one part and the flex system with attached grips and one lens on the other part. Very cumbersome, specially outside (rainy days, mountain etc.), very time consuming.

Took a looooooooong time, but worth the wait....

As they say good things come to those who wait (& great things to those who don't...PGYTECH). And wait I did... When it finally came it my Ronin 4D became a whole new beast! With the weight on my back and the lens and handles on a monopod I can film longer without getting as tired or sore. If you have a 4D look into this back pack.

Does this include the Beetle Clip and plate for the camera?

According to the BH listing above, the Beetle Clip is in fact included and is built into the backpack. This begs the question...is an additional part required to mount the Ronin 4D to the clip? I just ordered this backpack today and I would love to know what the correct information is and if I need to order additional parts??

The PGYTECH Backpack for DJI Ronin 4D's exterior dimensions are 22.8 x 15 x 12.6". For most airlines, the carry-on bag size limit is 22 x 14 x 9", but you'd need to check with the airline you would be using for their specific requirements.

Can you fit a fully built Ronin 4D in this bag, so pull it out and start shooting or does it need to be disassembled?

The PGYTECH Backpack for DJI Ronin 4D is made for carrying the components of the 4D. You need to assemble the camera on set. Carrying a fully built 4D in a back pack would necessitate a much bigger, more expensive bag that likely would not fully protect the delicate gimbal.
