Was unsure at first but took a shot – this thing is perfect for how I intended to use it and provides alternative mounting options for those unforeseen if I only had a... moments. The NATO doesn't slip when sliding over the cold shoe area, which is what my initial concern was. Very well thought out, versatile design, solid build – great price too.
