Creality K1 Max Overview

From Manufacturer

For builders looking for speed and agile printing productivity, the Creality K1 Max 3D Printer features a solid die-cast aluminum alloy frame that promotes swiftness without compromising quality.

Providing you with a build area of 11.8 x 11.8 x 11.8", you have plenty of room for your larger and more bust creations. A single extruder boasts a high temperature of 572°F, suitable for handling multiple 1.75mm filaments including ABS, PLA, PETG, TPU, and more. Rail and extruder design enables the K1 to achieve printing speeds up to 600 mm/s, while retaining a 0.1 to 0.35mm resolution. The aluminum-alloy heat bed spreads heat uniformly and quickly and can handle up to 248°F while also using hands-free auto-leveling to ensure your models are printed evenly. Sticky and heat-resistant build plate assists with removing your finished models. The K1 can print via USB drive or Wi-Fi wireless technology, allowing you to control the K1 in person or remotely.

Always Print at Full Speed
With 20000mm/s2 acceleration, K1 ramps up to 600mm/s in only 0.03 seconds, delivering full speed in 90% of the printing time.
Dual Fan Model Cooling
A large fan on the printhead with air ducts cools the model directly. An 18W auxiliary fan in the build chamber enhances the cooling effect, too.
Creality Print 4.3" Speed Genes
The latest self-developed slicer Creality Print 4.3 includes rich presets, and streamlines the slicing process into 3 simple stages. Even better, it bolsters high-speed printing with variable line width, arc path, and so on.
AI Enhancements
The 1 μm resolution LiDAR will scan the first layer on its own. It will pause printing and tell you immediately if something goes wrong. K1 Max uses an AI camera to watch over spaghetti failure, foreign objects, debris, and more. It will alert you when an error occurs and also supports real-time monitoring and creates time-lapses for sharing.
Enhanced Computing Power
K1 Max adopts the smart Creality OS. It features a straightforward UI, and syncs data and commands with PC, phone, Cloud, and add-on modules. The snappy dual-core 1.2GHz CPU powers high-speed printing with ease. The 8G ROM stores up to 400 model files and enables quick writing and reading.
Connectivity
Once K1 Max is connected via Wi-Fi or RJ45 Ethernet port to the LAN or Internet, you can monitor and control the printing from a PC or phone with Creality Print software or Creality Cloud.
Pre-Assembled Design
K1 is assembled and calibrated before shipment and offers a boot-up quick guide. Just start printing the moment your K1 arrives.
Easy Self-Testing Capabilities
Give a tap, and K1 will self-test the extruder, heat bed, camera, fan, leveling, etc. Any abnormality detected will prompt on the display. So, users can proceed confidently without a hitch.
Hands-Free Auto Leveling
An array of strain sensors is embedded in the heat bed to generate an accurate leveling mesh. The whole process happens on its own after the printing starts. You don't need to lift a finger or pay any attention.
Integrated G-Sensor
A G-sensor in the printhead measures the resonance frequencies of high-speed printing and auto-tunes the printer to mitigate it. No more ghosting or ringing on the print.
Built-In Air Purifier
The built-in air filters will purify unhealthy compounds generated during printing, making printing much more pleasant.
Filament Compatibility
The K1 is compatible with ABS, PLA, PETG, PET, TPU, PA, ASA, PC, PLA-CF, PA-CF, and PET-CF filaments.

Creality K1 Max Reviews

Nothing but issues w/ K1 max

I have multiple other creality printers so bought the k1 max to add another option for different materials. Unfortunately I have had nothing but struggle after struggle with getting this printer to print. After over a year of chasing issues, replacing parts that fail due to clogs and jams, etc, I am giving up on this giant paper weight. I have yet to get a full roll of filament to print without major issue. Calibration, fine tuning, firmware updates and fresh cleans only helped for a few prints but then I'd run the same part 2 or 3 times over with the printer clogging, jamming, or other heat creep related issues on the later tries. My other printers work without issue for weeks on end without break and with a little fine tuning, print nicer quality than I could get out of the K1 max even though they're a fraction of the cost. It seems this printer works great for some but I must have gotten a lemon. Spend your money on a different model and save yourself a headache. Nothing against b&h, just a bad experience with Creality for me

Never printed before. Saw so many YouTube videos of issues and fixes for every 3D printer and was so happy that this K1 Max just printed everything perfect on the first try. Used Creality filament to avoid tinkering with parameters. Very happy 3D builder here.
