What is the difference between the Calibrite Display Pro HL Colorimeter and the Calibrite ColorChecker Display Pro?
The main differences between the Calibrite ColorChecker Display Pro and the new Calibrite Display Pro HL models are the following. The Display Pro HL and Display Plus HL devices are USB-C/TB3/TB4 direct connection for faster data transfer resulting in quicker measurement times and more sampling. HL models accurately measure Mini-LED (like the new Apple XDR displays) and OLED displays to create profiles to their maximum gamut that will meet or exceed P3. Also the High-luminance (HL) capabilities support true HDR. (3000 nits for the Pro HL and 10,000 nits for the Plus HL). The Calibrite ColorChecker Display Pro supports displays with up to 1000nits of brightness.

Is this compatible the original Asus PA32UC and the Pro Art software?
While the Calibrite Display Pro HL is designed to be a drop-in replacement for the ColorChecker Display Pro and X-Rite i1Display Pro colorimeters, you should always double-check with the third party software vendor to see if it is supported in their software. I'd recommend checking with the Asus Technical Support team for confirmation that the Display Pro HL is supported in their software.
