Disappointing
Let's start with the good. The device does give some visibility into the host UPS once you get up to the current firmware, so at a basic level, it kind of works. At nearly $400 USD, one expects a product that is more robust and full featured. If you want any environment feedback, that's an additional cost for a separate product. The firmware the product ships with is so far behind and it has major connectivity issues. Be prepared to spend some time just being able to see/talk to the card, and once connected, incrementally upgrade firmware until you are at the latest. Notifications are a major issue. CyberPower will direct you to configure GMail SMTP with an app password. Testing using other providers that support SMTP authentication all fail. Sadly there is no trace logging to identify where the failure is happening. I would give it at least another star if it actually supported SMTP with any provider supporting SMTP authentication. Bottom line... would I purchase again? Not likely. The product has not reached a maturity to call this an enterprise class device. Unfortunately, the only option is to consider other product lines outside of CyberPower.
