COLBOR V-Mount Adapter + D-Tap to Type-C V-Mount Battery Cable

The COLBOR V-Mount Adapter + D-Tap to Type-C V-Mount Battery Cable allows V-Mount batteries to power COLBOR CL60, CL60M, CL60R, CL100X, and CL100XM LED lights. You can also power the lights with NP-F batteries with separate purchase of the VAP1 adapter.

COLBOR NP-F to V-Mount Battery Adapter Plate

The NP-F to V-Mount Battery Adapter Plate from COLBOR allows attachment to the COLBOR VM2 V-Mount adapter and can then power COLBOR series lights with two Sony L-series/NP-F-type batteries with the equivalent voltage. The combined voltage of the two NP-F batteries should be 14.8V, which is the standard output power of a V-Mount battery. The plate allows use of NP-F550, 750, and 950 batteries to power COLBOR CL60, CL60M, CL60R, CL100X, and CL100XM LED lights.

There's no reason to run a small COB light like that on AC power for regular field shooting. With two 6600 mAh batteries, I run a CL60 at 80 % for 1h45 min. Yes the D-tap plug is a bit loose but it's ok, the power indicator on the plate gives it a 5 stars. It has only for leds but the last one dims when the power gets low.

I really like the way it attaches to the fixture and I love the power indicator. My batteries don't have one. It would be nice if the AC could attached like that. I had little spots that were overheating went used with batteries 'cause the fan didn't work without AC. The CL60 fan's is operationnal when used with this set up but don't go too high on brightness. With two NP of 4400mAh, the CL60 at 40 % and 4000K, it ran for 2 hours. Another pair of identical batteries lasted 20 minutes. So check your batteries and if the amount of time is not sufficent, the problem is there. When I use a spot on batteries, it's because I want to be quick or I'm outside at night, in dim places... It's not to fight a strong backlight. 40% on the CL60 is strong enough.
