ROGETI RG-1 Geared Head MarkIII

The RG-1 Geared Head MarkIII from Rogeti is a high-precision, three-axis, gear-driven head for exacting camera placement. The worm-geared drive mechanism is self-locking at any angle. It has a robust load capacity of 26.5 pounds, yet is only 4" tall and weighs just 1.5 pounds, making it easy to transport or store. It has an oversized 210° pitch angle that has no mechanical interference between movements. A clutch mechanism provides quick tilt adjustment, plus an additional fine-tuning knob for detailed movement. Three individual torpedo-type bubble levels provide precise alignment on the X, Y, and Z axes. The top platform is an Arca-type quick release set with a 60mm-long receiver, suitable for use with large lenses.
