I was hopeful that these simple cables would work just as well as the ARRI version. After 6 months of light use, the adhesive holding the ferrite cores in place has loosened and turned into an oily substance, and the cores can slide back and forth on the cable. I’ve also noticed these cables don’t play nicely with the OCU - my only guess is that they somehow can’t reliably supply as much power. Long story short they still work for most applications, but I’m not expecting them to last long.
