The MXNet 1G Evolution II Encoder from AVPro Edge receives and encodes HDMI 2.0 video and audio signals at resolutions up to DCI 4K60 4:4:4, along with control, power, and HDR metadata. This encoder supports HDR10, HLG, and Dolby Vision up to 30 Hz and is designed for use with an MXNet switch or a multicast capable L3 switch and with Cat 6A cable or with SFP fiber for longer runs. It features a new AVPro Edge ASIC (application-specific integrated circuit) for enhanced video processing and support for audio formats like Dolby Atmos and DTS:X for IMAX Enhanced soundtracks.
Note:
The AC-MXNET-1G-EV2 may coexist alongside 1st-generation MXNet encoders and decoders within previously installed or pending systems; however, they are required to be used exclusively in EVO II transmitter-to-EVO II decoder(s) pairings only.

JPEG 2000
- The JPEG 2000 encoding used by MXNet components optimizes compression efficiency for applications with limited bandwidth.

- This Evolution II Encoder supports video resolutions up to DCI 4K60 4:4:4/4:2:2 12-bit signals using limited, ultralight ICT compression.
- Supports up to DCI 4K60 4:4:4 8-bit and UHD 4K60 4:2:2 12-bit uncompressed video signals.
- Supports HDR 10, HLG, and Dolby Vision up to DCI 4K30.
High-Bitrate Audio Support
- The Evolution II Encoder supports multichannel, high-bitrate audio.

- The front-panel OLED screen displays critical information, making setup and troubleshooting easier.
- The data window displays the IP address and the MAC address or can be modified to display up to 12-character custom names.
