Although really great I think the parts should be labeled. Still not sure it's all on the right locations. One left over for the 100-300. The coloring is what I really like. Overall a good and needed product to help protect this amazing lens.

What is the difference and intended use for the Realtree Max4 versus Max5 - they look identical in the photos?

According to the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) section on LensCoat's website comparing the Max 4 pattern to the Max 5 pattern used on the LensCoat Cover for Canon RF 100-300mm f/2.8 IS Lens (Realtree Max5), they state the Max 4 is a well-established, popular pattern they have been selling for many years, whereas the Max 5 is a newer pattern which also includes some green leaf elements. Both are great all-round camouflage patterns.

Is LensCoat intended to be put on the lens and left on, or can it be put on and taken off and put on again multiple times?

The LensCoat Cover for Canon RF 100-300mm f/2.8 IS Lens can be removed and reapplied as many times as needed.
