Seagate One Touch Password Reviews

Works as advertised

Got this for a NSA backup. Plugged it in, formatted exFAT in about 3-seconds so I had access to all of the storage as I don't need and won't use the extra software goodies that Seagate provided, and it just… worked. No muss, no fuss. B&H customer support (I had to change my delivery address after placing the order) and delivery was excellent, as usual.

I recently purchased the Seagate 2TB One Touch from B&H Photo for my Apple MAC 16", and I couldn’t be more impressed. From the sleek, textured black finish to the lightning-fast performance, this external drive delivers on all fronts. 🔒 Top-notch security: The built-in password protection with hardware encryption gives me total peace of mind when storing sensitive files. Ideal for both personal and professional use. 🚀 Speed & compatibility: Transfer speeds are excellent; moving large video files and photo libraries is smooth and reliable. It works flawlessly with both Windows and macOS, and setup was incredibly easy right out of the box. 💼 Compact and durable: The drive is slim, lightweight, and durable enough to toss in a bag and go. It’s perfect for travel, remote work, or daily use without sacrificing performance. 🛍️ B&H Photo experience: As always, B&H Photo delivered fast shipping, great packaging, and a competitive price. Their customer service continues to be one of the best in the industry. Their pricing is just as good if not better than Amazon. Bottom line: If you're looking for a secure, high-performing external hard drive with ample space and dependable speed, the Seagate One Touch 2TB is an outstanding choice. Highly recommended!

What is the read and write speeds?

What is the read and write speeds?
Asked by: franck
Seagate does not publish a read and write speed for the Seagate 2TB One Touch USB 3.2 Gen 1 External Hard Drive with Password Protection (Black), B&H # SESTKY2000B. Generally, a drive with these specifications can offer speeds in the range of 100MB/s to 130MB/s. It would work best as a backup or general storage drive; for higher speeds, you would want to look at an SSD.

No, the Seagate 2TB One Touch USB 3.2 Gen 1 External Hard Drive with Password Protection (Black) should have no issues connecting to a Windows 7 PC as long as it was not formatted in AFPS (apple format).
