The Opal Morphing Synthesizer Plug-In Instrument from Universal Audio is a powerful polyphonic virtual synth that combines analog emulation with wavetable synthesis to create an innovative hybrid instrument that delivers a massive, record-ready electronic sound to your DAW productions. At the core of the sound engine is a 3-oscillator sound-source module with each oscillator capable of either Analog or Wavetable mode. The morphing oscillators allow you to create complex, evolving textures by modulating the Wave parameter in the modulation matrix, while FM and Sync options provide additional tonal possibilities.
Sculpt the sounds using the the two morphing multimode filters and insert FX, which can be arranged in serial or parallel paths for complete flexibility. Multiple envelope controls along with a powerful modulation matrix and a plethora of additional output effects options provide a wealth of sound shaping possibilities. The instrument allows you to adjust the polyphony, providing a maximum of 12 voices at once, although using fewer voices is less taxing on your computer's CPU. This plug-in software runs natively in your DAW on Mac or Windows computers without requiring any Universal Audio hardware.
