The hinge is also a 15mm rod clamp, and the base mount can be removed, and the monitor can be mounted onto a separately available standard 15mm rod, allowing the monitor to rotate further. A rubber pad is included to allow the mount to fit other third-party monitors that do not feature locating holes.

Solved A Huge Problem For Me

I have been putting together a rig for my a7siii, and SHAPE rig made for the a7siii. The biggest problem I've had is trying to connect my smallhd indie5 to that rig. I tried all sorts of crazy arms and rails etc., and I wasn't happy with any of it, but this little hinge has been the best solution I've found yet. It connects nicely to the top handle, and it screws on really solidly, so that the monitor doesn't budge. It's not the most elegant solution, but I'm satisfied with it, and this little hinge was a lifesaver.

SmallHD sort of missed the mark with the bottom thread location of the Cine 5. Any other tilting monitor mount will block either the USB port or the DC port, rendering them unusable. I hate articulating arms so was a bit SOL until I found this. Huge kudos to Wooden Camera for consistently making highly specific components; no other brand identifies unique needs and issues as well as Wooden.

Why doesn't this work with other monitors?
