GREAT MODERN CHEESEPLATE BUT WITH ONE FEATURE/BUG ISSUE

I have an iPad mini on an Ultralight Arm mounted to a MixPre 10 with an old fashioned cheeseplate. Without anti-twist pin features it worked it's way loose and the iPad arm started swinging around wildly while dismounting. A $50 updated cheeseplate to protect $500 or more worth of gear is a no-brainer. PROS: 1) Arri anti twist pin holes, large enough to accommodate pins from parts manufacturers with less-than-perfect machining. 2) Thinner-than-normal plate for reduced weight. CONS: 1) Thinner-than-normal plate for reduced weight. The cheeseplate is mounted to the MixPre via it's 1/4 20 top screw. I then mounted a Kondor QR receiver to the super-thin cheeseplate, and the screw went right through and chewed up the rubber pad atop the MixPre. Problem was solved with a slightly shorter screw but the thinner than normal plate may result in screw damage to whatever you are mounting this plate to. Beware and be careful when first mounting gear. Have short screws and washers handy.
