I had heard shape released a series of light stands a few years ago. The studio where I work were equipped with Matthews for years until we tried the shape units. My god! Really?? Why oh why didn’t we get them earlier? They’re a game changer! My fingers are now back to normal with their damped spring risers system. So easy to tighten the sections. They just stay in place. Very sturdy units, they will simply not fail us.
