I really enjoyed this purifier for the few months I had it. Although the Airfare was a just a little too small for our space, I was beginning to notice the difference of using it during the night as I am allergic to their cat.We've been turning on the fan to the higher intensity on and off– using the timer sequence before going to bed. One day, I came home and tried turning on the fan and again and instead of seeing the usual blue light underneath, it was read. I don't hear the same fan sound when I activate it. and I'm frustrated for trusting this purifier and spending a chunk of change which I should have used to invest in a different air purifier, even if they require changing out the filters. Has anyone else encountered this issue? Who can one call or see about a replacement?

I'm very happy with Air Free. It is as effective as traditional air purifying machines. I also love that Air Free air purifiers do not make noise. Also I no longer need to buy new filters each year, so they're cheaper. No maintenance needed.

Is there a way to take off the side panels, similar to "Lotus" model?

The Airfree P3000 Plus Air Purifier (BH #AIPLUS) does not feature removeable side panels.
