Negative Supply 110FSC Reviews

OK BUT NOT FOR SHORT FRAMES

This holder works ok but with single frames up to 3 or 4 its slow to use. Most 110 negatives are maybe 4 frames which makes it hard to advance to the next frame. I found the best way is to use a pointed knife, back edge not sharp edge, insert it into the sprocket hole and advance to the next frame. Other people have commented on the film falling out of the guide slots I had that problem too. I found the films that are bowed are the ones that fall out, the flat ones don't. I've found that short negatives 1 to 4 frames in 35 mm, 120, 127, and 620 sizes present some challenges to run thru Negative Supply equipment. Overall I would recommend Negative Supply equipment and would buy again as needed. I still challenge Negative Supply to make film holders that are easier to use with short commercial processed films. Out of 6800 pictures so far done I've only had 5 full rolls of 120 film to do. It is fast to do with full rolls!

Better than my hand made one

I bought this because I was getting inconsistent results with my hand made unit. This unit is not perfect. The tolerances are not very tight compared to the 35 mm unit. Also one of the screw threads does not work. It was not a clean cut of the tap when it was made. Also all my strips were cut to 4 images per strip. This unit has issues with less than 5 images in a strip. I had to create a push tool about 5mm x 8 mm x 10mm. For the price it is okay
