This B&H Kit includes two of Carina FS247.4 Floorstanding Speakers from ELAC, to be used as left and right.
Enjoy dynamic sound from your amplifier with the satin white ELAC Carina FS247.4 Floorstanding Speaker. It features a 2.5-way design with a JET folded ribbon tweeter, a 5.25" compound curvature aluminum cone mid-woofer, and a 5.25" compound curvature aluminum cone woofer. It accepts 30 to 250W of power from your amplifier and produces a 34 Hz to 30 kHz frequency response. The speaker features a down-firing bass port for enhanced low-frequency effects.
JET Folded Ribbon Tweeter
The JET tweeters are designed to provide fast response and a wide dynamic range with minimal distortion and a wide frequency range.
Compound Curvature Aluminum Woofer
To achieve a seamless transition between the woofer and the JET tweeter, the compound curvature cone was engineered to control the cone breakup and move it beyond the operating range of the woofer. A large diameter voice coil and oversized vented pole piece magnet combine to provide enhanced bass dynamics and performance.
Downward Firing Port
To help provide flexible speaker placement and to minimize ventilation noise, the bass reflex port is directed downward, exiting the bottom of the speaker cabinet in a down-firing configuration.
