Bought this to shoot sports photography. Overall a solid chair, the swivel is helpful. After about 3 months of use since I bought it, the rod went through the rubber feet and I would sink in when on grass because it was the rod and not the rubber feet. Didn't realize this has a lifetime guarantee, uploaded my B&H Receipt and they are sending me new rubber feet. Originally they were going to send me a brand new chair but all I need is the rubber feet. Great customer service! Would certainly buy again but then again, I will never need to because there is a lifetime guarantee on the product according to their website.
Purchased for nature photography after using a foldable stadium seat pad for years. While the stadium seat pad worked, it was directly on the ground and did not rotate. The Grand Trunk seat easily rotates and elevates you off the ground. At first I thought that the seat was a little too low but quickly realized that it was a good height allowing me to rest my elbows on my knees which helps steady the camera and makes supporting a large lens much easier. Note that it does get easier putting the seat on after using the seat once or twice. Only negative would be that the legs will sink in soft ground- slightly wider feet would help. But for weighing only one pound I can't complain much.
