My Hawklock and Black Mamba cage integral dovetail bases fit absolutely perfectly onto this baseplate! I didn't even have to adjust the tension on the locking mechanism and I didn't have to attach the included Sirui quick release plate! Sirui made a fabulous product. I purchased four of these. Totally satisfied with this product. I cannot recommend it enough!

With a lot more mirrorless cameras being able to capture 10-bit/RAW/ProRes HQ internally nowadays like the Nikon Z6iii, it means there is less necessity for full cages and rigs (at least for me anyway). I have not much need for a monitor anymore, and have swapped out cages for the Nikon for just a simple arca-swiss L-bracket. This is the perfect fit for my needs. The L-bracket can side load or snap in from above and locks firmly in place. The only time I need 15mm rails is for a v-mount battery hinge for extensive shooting lengths; when needed I just throw the v-mount hinge on the rails and run it through the PD-USBC port via D-tap. The Sirui 15mm carbon fiber rails are lightweight and have less noisy rattle when traveling in the case; if you need heavy duty rails I'd look for stainless steel option but for the price you can't beat it for simple setups.

Yes, the Sirui Universal Quick Release Baseplate with Dual 15 mm Rod Clamp Arca top plate will work. But you may need to add the Smallrig plate below to allow you to work with Arca-Swiss plates on your Ronin-S.

Which brands of Arri dovetail plate are compatible with this baseplate? The Kondor Blue Arri dovetail I own doesn't fit this
