Great, except not for Godox Sony flashes

Balhead is very secure, Baby pin is good to. But I broke the locking mechanism of my Godox Sony flash when locking it in. You see those flashes now uses a twist to lock mechanism. And it happens that the hotshoe of the Sony camera is thinner than the one on this Newer adapter. So when I firmly twisted to lock, it BROKE the flash locking mechanism. I was then left with a flash that my camera would not be able to trigger 9/10 shots as the connection was not good anymore. I had to replace the shoe of my flash to have it work well again. Not great when that happens during a shoot. Fortunately I had a backup flash with me. A good alternative is to pair this with the Kupo KG006711 Universal Hot Shoe Adapter. Granted it's a bit expensive. But it's got nothing to do with those cheap versions that are hard to get really secured. This one is super easy to get to grip very firmly.
