Pelican BX55 Reviews

If you have no other options buy it

The case is extremely well-made, and Pelican charges accordingly. If you are looking to mount it in a vehicle, then check out the mounting hardware prior to purchasing, since the price of that nearly doubles your total investment in one cargo case. My biggest grievance with this case is that the loops for padlocks are extremely small for this type of case, making it very hard to find a robust lock that can fit through the locking loops. You just paid a premium for a premium case and mounting hardware, and the only lock that fits is a $10 TSA luggage lock. That doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. Now that you know that, the case is as advertised: very durable, can take a beating, and sit in the elements day in and day out.
