Touch Lock No Worky

The good: The bag is attractive and gives off a high-tech vibe. When it is loaded, it stands up on its own. I plan to attach rubber feet to the bottom to prevent scratches. The laptop/tablet pockets hold my 15" monitor and two MacBooks easily. The bag has velcro and snap restraints at the bottom to keep the shell from opening too wide. The restraints can be unsnapped/unzipped so the back can be laid flat while packing. There is a charging port on one side, with a cable included in the bag for connecting to a power bank. Each side of the bag has a zip pocket that is surprisingly roomy. Rainberg claims the shell will withstand 100lbs of pressure. (We'll see). The Less-Than-Good: The shell side of the bag has two pouch pockets and a zip pocket. Anything placed in the pouch pockets falls out when the bag is laid flat. The zip pocket is woefully undersized. It should have been larger, or multiple zip pockets should have been included. I'm an IT gadget guy, so more is better. I resorted to placing my. smaller items in a zip pouch, which I place in each interior pouch. The bag is designed more like a daytripper, with room for your gear and a change of clothes. As good as the bag looks, I'm concerned about its durability. I'm hard on my toys, and the construction just seems flimsy. Time will tell if this is a fair assessment. The Bad: The Touch Lock is DOA. It will not enter admin mode. The status LED does not light when it is plugged in for charging. I tried to contact Rainsberg support, but was connected to a screened phone line (like Google Voice). I also sent an email from the support page. I surmise that Rainsberg is a (very) small company. Perhaps a force of one. I don't expect to hear from Rainsberg in a timely manner, so I will RMA the bag back to B&H. I'm hoping they have a replacement available. For the moment, I'm leaving a 1-star rating. If I can get a back that functions properly, that rating will improve.

not happy. Requires two hands to zip the zipper closed. One hand to pull the zipper, and one hand to push the material at the lower corner out of the way so the zipper can move past. Would not purchase again.
