Product Fails
Purchased this product for our company Canon GP-300 large format printer and began using it after a month of receiving the material once we had approved art to produce on this particular substrate. Mounted it to foamcore for posters we needed for an event, no problem looked great, but when we ran long lengths: 10-20ft runs of the material to hang on newly painted drywall (painted and cured 2 months prior) application the product peeled right off the wall after the first week. No reason besides the adhesive failed under it's own weight. Walls were clean and dry. We've been using the Canon fabric peel n stick for years now and not one has fallen off the wall (In the picture the piece above and below are the fabric stock - to this day they are still hanging fine). This product is a complete disappointment and when we tried to get a refund, or let the manufacturer know of the product issue, no one has followed up. It's been almost 4 months. Disappointed in Canon for this poor product quality, b & h customer service and their Canon rep for not following up. I would not recommend this product to anyone.
Not that great
It prints well and overall looks great. It's the usage where things go wrong. I've tried this on smooth: walls, flooring, windows and a car (for curiosity sake). It peeled off/lifted on it's own in a matter or minutes. All surfaces were cleaned and completely dry prior to application. I even spoke with a Canon Representative to see if there were any tips or tricks to get this to apply better. No such luck. This is too costly not to do what it is supposed to. * It sticks to itself perfectly well.
