By using your home or office's existing coaxial wiring to link network devices together, this TL-MC84D MoCA 2.5 Ethernet Over Coax Adapter Kit from Translite Global helps you to overcome thick walls and wireless signal interference. One of the two included MoCA 2.5 adapters can be connected to your broadband modem or router while the other connects to remote computers and other devices, transferring up to 3.6 Gb/s across a max distance of 300 feet.
Each adapter includes two coaxial connectors alongside two Gigabit Ethernet ports. Up to 16 adapters may be included on a single network, and they may be securely paired with a simple press of the MoCA Protected Setup (MPS) button.
Flexible Frequency Selection
The TL-MC84D works at high frequency range. Its frequency range is between 1125 to 1675 MHz. Channels can be flexibly selected based on network condition.
Strong Interference-Proof Capability
A physical layer adopts an advanced ACMT mode that is OFDMA, which gives it strong interference-proof capability by avoiding high noise at lower frequency.
Advanced Data Link Layer Agreement
The link layer adopts the TDMA protocol, MP2MP structure. Each device can communicate with any other one, and all the adapters adopt the same TDD.
TR069 Remote Management
This MOCA 2.5 adapter supports remote monitoring and management through TR-069 protocol, enabling operators to access a user's in-home network from headend to help troubleshoot and manage Quality of Environment (QoE).
MoCA Protected Setup (MPS)
MoCA protected setup (MPS) allows one press pairing for the home network install. It makes the self-installation for end user to setup the network easily, and also isolates the home connection from the neighborhood.
