This Lens Mount Adapter from Rayqual allows you to mount Exakta/Topcon lenses to your Sony E-mount camera, It supports manual focusing in both Manual and Aperture Priority modes, and though autofocus is not supported, the adapter does allow you to use depth of field preview and stopped down metering if your camera and lens support it. Please note that when using In-Body Image Stabilization (IBIS), the focal length should be set in the camera. Made in Japan, the adapter has been designed and manufactured to maintain a parallel optical pathway while eliminating internal reflections. My grandfather gifted me his old 1960âs Topcon RE Super he purchased when he was stationed in Vietnam. With it, four fast Topcor lenses with beautiful bokeh and lens flare. I searched far and wide for a reliable and sturdy adapter for my Sony A7III and this hit the mark. Itâs made of metal and has some weight to it. The way Exatka lenses work, I have heard horror stories of the catch pin breaking or completely ruining the mount on cameras. Iâve used it for about a month and have a feeling it will last a long time. Itâs been amazing using the same lenses that my grandfather used to take pictures of my family. Now I get to relive a piece of family history with this adapter. As well as having the privilege to tell stories with lenses that have been since before I was born.
